About the Digital Marketing Specialist Position
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team and help us to continue to build relationships with our customers and support our employees. The position requires working in office at our Jackson, Michigan facility.
Customer Engagement
- Develop a content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style, and layout.
- Create and publish a variety of engaging content.
- Optimize content according to SEO best practices.
- Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics.
- Use HubSpot to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture them (using dynamic workflows) into converted customers.
- Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic.
- Develop an editorial calendar with marketing team and create content that supports it.
- Ensure compliance with the law (e.g., copyright and data protection)
- Stay up to date with developments and generate innovative ideas to draw the audience’s attention.
Customer Engagement Success Criteria
- Produce up to three blog articles per week.
- An increase Sales Qualified Leads (SQL)
- Website and social media traffic growth
- Increases in key search engine keyword rankings.
Culture, Retention, and Employee Engagement
- Develop and execute ongoing employee engagement campaigns and activities to recognize and engage team members.
- Develop an editorial calendar with marketing team and create content that supports it.
- Promote benefit programs offered by Ambs Call Center to employees.

Qualifications for the Position
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience working in a B2B (or B2C) capacity.
- Experienced HubSpot user, proficient in its marketing automation and blogging software features.
- Understands the value of content marketing.
- You are detailed oriented and organized.
- You must be an excellent communicator -- written, verbal, visual.
- Has interview skills and is a curious and thoughtful listener.
- Understands how to use data to inform all strategic decisions.
- Operates well with giving and receiving feedback.
- You possess a team mentality and like helping and connecting with people.
Bonus Skills
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite.
- You have HubSpot Content Marketing Certification.
- You have experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMRush.
