Instructions on how to call forward Windstream phones to the answering service.

Windstream Call Forwarding Instructions

Windstream call forwarding allows you to forward your calls to another phone number. This includes the answering service, mobile phone or a landline.

To Activate

1. Pick up the handset and listen for dial tone.

2. Press 72#.

3. Dial the phone number provided to you by the answering service. When the call is answered live or with a greeting, call forwarding is in activated. If the call is not answered, repeat steps one and two.

To Deactivate

1. Listen for dial tone.

2. Press 73#. You will hear two short tones, followed by dial tone.
